NYC CRE Tech Summit 2019 – February 19, 2019

Another quickly approaching event for real estate professionals is the NYC CRE Tech Summit, which starts at 7:30 am on February 19. Here you’ll learn about how tech is affecting and influencing everything from real estate management to investment and design. Tickets are $99 each, and RXR Realty’s Scott Rechloer will be giving the keynote address. Other speakers at this event are Luke Lucas of T-Mobile and Gabrielle McMillan of Equiem.

 

Real Estate Women’s Forum – February 28, 2019

 

This year, New York City is home to the 8th annual Real Estate Women’s Forum, an annual gathering that highlights the accomplishments of established and emerging female leaders in commercial real estate. The forum will take place at the New York Academy of Sciences on February 28. This event specifically highlights the work of developers, owners, operators, and investors, and the speaker faculty is made up of exclusively women. The founder and CEO of L&L MAG, MaryAnne Gillmartin, will be the keynote speaker, and other inspiring women speakers hail from the Rockefeller Group, Durst Organization, and Greater Jamaica Development Corporation.

 

GlobeSt.com Net Lease – April 3-4, 2019

Plan to attend this conference to learn how real estate technology is shaping the industry and how you can harness its potential for your company’s gain. Last year’s event brought in over 4,000 registrations, and this year’s RealTECH will feature the insights of senior-level technology, investment, and operational professionals. Agenda items discuss macro trends in housing, maintenance and rehab technology, trends in listing, and more. Based upon the registration type you choose, event pricing ranges from $895 to 2,095.

 

ASDinnovate – September 18-19, 2019

 

We’re also excited for ASDinnovate, an event also known as #InnovateCRE, which is a two-day festival on September 18-19 in New York City. This is the third edition of this event that’s expected to draw in international industry leaders in the real estate tech space. Last year’s event featured Silicon Valley billionaires like Tim Draper of Draper Associates and Blackstone Group CTO William Murphy as the keynote speakers. Other inspiring speakers last year hailed from Botangle, New Age Capital, Spaceti, and many other successful companies. Ticket prices range from $750 to $1,500, depending on when you buy.

 

CREtech New York – October 16-17, 2019

 

Before October rolls around, make sure you’ve secured your spot to attend CREtech New York, a two-day conference on October 16-17 in New York City. This is an event for learning about all things tech as they relate to the commercial real estate industry and bridging the gap between the CRE and tech sectors. It’s also a fun event in a casual atmosphere that includes plenty of candid conversations with industry experts. Plan to buy early bird tickets for the best deal on CREtech New York. Similar CREtech events also take place in Los Angeles in March and Boston in April.

 

NYC Real Estate Expo – October 24, 2019

 

We also recommend checking out the NYC Real Estate Expo on October 24 at the NY Hilton Midtown. This is an NYC Network Group event that brings together top experts and specializes in connecting real estate and tech industry professionals in NYC. Last year, the sessions offered need-to-know trends, new technology implementation advice, predictions on the future market, and more. The 2018 keynote speaker was Michael Stoler of Madison Realty Capital and New York Real Estate TV LLC. Check the event website for 2019 updates.

 

NYC Real Estate Tech Week – November 11-15, 2019

 

If you haven’t noticed, a huge theme for the real estate industry this year is integrating real estate with technology. Therefore, you won’t want to miss Blackstone’s NYC Real Estate Tech Week November 11-15. You can request an invite on the event’s website and be part of the over 2,000 leaders and innovators in attendance this year. This tech week involves multiple events across the city, including roundtable discussions, panels, demos, education sessions, and networking. Last year’s sessions included proptech showcases, women in real estate presentations, and energy management breakfasts.

 

MIPIM PropTech NYC – November 12-13, 2019 

 

Taking place during Tech Week at the Metropolitan Pavilion NYC on November 12 and 13 is MIPIM PropTech NYC, a premier real estate and tech event in the city. This event will draw in over 70 keynotes and speakers, offer more than 25 conferences, and attract professionals from over 35 countries. There’s a startup competition that gives innovative newcomers a chance to qualify for the MIPIM finals in Cannes and present ideas to at least 26,000 industry leaders. Other event highlights are the TechHub exhibit, keynote speakers like Julie Samuels of Tech: NYC and Michael Phillips of Jamestown, L.P., and informal networking over lunches and cocktails.
